Tacos "El Jefe" started with a simple belief: the best food doesn't need a fancy address. It needs fresh ingredients, real technique, and someone who actually cares about every plate that leaves the kitchen.
We opened our doors on East Church Street because this town deserves a place that takes Mexican food seriously — not the shortcut version, but the real thing. Salsas made from scratch. Tortillas pressed to order. Meats slow-marinated and cooked over open flame.
Every bite carries the same intention it did on day one: feed people something they'll remember, in a space where they feel welcome.
